Field tools for wildfire-ready properties.
ClearZone is a mobile app in development for homeowners, fire stakeholders, and rural communities who need a clearer way to visualize, document, and plan defensible space around real properties.
Built for real terrain, not flat diagrams.
Defensible space rules are simple on paper but complicated on rural properties. ClearZone is designed to make those distances visible, walkable, and easier to document.
Zone Visualization
Map clearance zones around homes, outbuildings, and other structures with simple distance-based tools.
Property Walk Mapping
Walk a property, capture field points, and turn real-world movement into useful site documentation.
Burn Status Awareness
Planned location-aware burn condition indicators using local rules, elevation, fire restrictions, and air quality data.
Documentation Support
Create better planning records for mitigation work, inspections, homeowner action, and pilot program reporting.
Why ClearZone exists.
Rural homeowners are expected to manage defensible space, but many properties have slopes, brush, multiple structures, irregular boundaries, and confusing clearance distances. ClearZone is being built to bridge the gap between written guidance and what people actually see on the ground.
Pilot conversations are open.
ClearZone is currently in development and being prepared for field testing with rural property owners, local stakeholders, and wildfire-readiness partners.
