Why ClearZone exists.
Wildfire preparation looks very different on real rural properties than it does in printed diagrams. Slopes, brush, fences, outbuildings, access roads, and uneven terrain can make defensible space difficult to visualize. ClearZone is being built as a simple field companion to help property owners better understand and organize preparation work on the ground.

ClearZone is designed as a voluntary planning and documentation tool for property owners. The app is not intended for surveillance, enforcement, or remote property monitoring.
Local field testing is underway.
ClearZone is currently in active development and early field testing across rural properties in the Sierra foothills. Feedback from property owners and local users is helping shape the workflow and future direction of the tool.
